We meet every Tuesday 5:30PM in the upper parking lot night on Southwest Ave. Driving through campus on Southwest, pass the library on your right, straight thru the 4-way stop, under the railroad tracks, to the second lot on the right. Begin with a 2 mile loop and then cross Southwest to complete a 3 mile loop. Single track with rolling hills. All runners welcome, from the trail newbie to the experienced! Come join us!

Each Thursday at 5:30 PM the State of Franklin Track Club sponsors a free 5-mile group run along the State of Franklin Greenway and through area neighborhoods. Meet in the lower parking lot of the Wellness Center, 200 MedTech Park, Johnson City. Refreshments provided at the end during the warm months. Everyone welcome!

    Register the morning of the race from 7-7:30 am at the gazebo.
    SFTC King and Queen Race!!

    Come run on the beautiful Creeper Trail. This is a five mile out and back race. Race day packet pickup will begin at 7 am at the gazebo. The awards ceremony will be held upon the completion of the race at the Gazebo. SFTC owned event. 8 am start.

    The Walk for Water 5K is a fundraising event to increase Emory & Henry's awareness of the worldwide lack of access to clean water and to raise funds to help Clean Water for the World provide water purification units to local communities in developing countries. Come enjoy a running tour of the beautiful Emory and Henry Campus on a spring day.
    There are two events both starting at 10 a.m. One is a 1 Mile Water Carrying Team Competition. The other is a 5K race timed by Oscar's Race Results.

    Down the Mountain Marathon

    This is a certified marathon course!

    Course:
    The course will start at Whitetop station mile marker 33.4 and finish near Alvarado mile marker 9.3 on the creeper trail. Runners will begin at Whitetop station and run down the mountain though Damascus and continue about a half mile past Alvarado to the turn-around point and back to the finish line near Alvarado. Alvarado is around 25.2 miles from the starting line at Whitetop. The trail is an old railroad bed that has a gravel surface and starts at an elevation of 3500 feet and descends to 1755 ft in Alvarado. This course could be your PR course!

    The “Adrenaline Run” is designed to get your pulse moving with various levels to pick from: Blue (less difficult), Red (more difficult) and Black (most difficult). This community run event is open to runners as young as 5 years old. Test your fitness as you run this obstacle course!     Nolichucky Triple Threat - Whitewater Raft + Obstacle Course + 5K Run
    12 noon. The Triple Threat starts at USA Raft on the whitewaters of the Nolichucky River with a trek down the Noli, where participants will emerge on a sandy beach where the timing portion of the event will begin. The second stage is an obstacle challenge course with many obstacles, including sand crawl, water wall, balance beam, and more. The 3rd stage is a 5K Run to downtown Erwin where participants can join in an outdoors festival after cooling down and cleaning up!
    If you are a newbie to the sport of watercrafting, USA Raft will be offering free "Water 101" lessons prior to the race. Arrive around 1pm. Optional: If you do not feel comfortable on the water, you can ride a trail bike to the start of the Obstacle Course.
    The timing portion of the race starts when you exit the water and cross the timing mats at the start of the Obstacle Course.

    6:30 pm 10K Start. 6:00 Early start for those who need more than 1h 30m. This is a FREE run presented by We Run Events. All we ask is that you bring a bag of pet food as your "entry fee," which we will donate to local animal shelters. It's the Summer Soltice so let's make the year's longest day something to remember! This is a very unique 10K run starting and finishing at the top of South Holston Dam. Take on breathtaking views of S. Holston Lake as we run from S. Holston Dam to Weir Dam, around the beautiful Osceola Island Trail, and back to top of S. Holston Dam. Save something for the challenging final 1-mile climb! The run will start at 6:30 pm at the top of South Holston Dam, Bristol, TN. Please arrive as early as possible so we can get started on time. We have a time limit of 1h 30m so we can be out before the park closes, however feel free to start early if you think it will take longer. 6:00 early start (or whenever you want to get going!). The run is timed, but please understand that this is a group run (not a race), with awards to the top 3 males and females only. We will have a digital clock and kiosks where you can check your time when you finish the run. The roads will not be closed to vehicular traffic so please be careful on the roads. Parking is extremely limited so please plan accordingly. Carpool if possible and/or park at Weir Dam and ride with others to the top of S. Holston Dam. Post-run pizza and goodies.

This is a point to point course from David Crockett High School to the front steps of the old courthouse in downtown Jonesborough. You should park at the start area (David Crockett High School) as there is limited parking in downtown Jonesborough. Shuttles will run for 1hr after the completion of the race...from downtown (post office/fire station) back to the school... Proceeds benefit the athletic programs at David Crockett High School.

    9:00 am. Join us as we run the first 7+ miles of the Haunted Half Marathon course. Since this is a double loop course you will get a good feel for the entire course on this practice run of the first loop. No entry fee. Bring your own water and fluids.     Monster Mile at Haunted Half Marathon
    9:00 am. This race is adult, kid, stroller, AND dog friendly! Feel free to dress up and make the Monster Mile even spookier! We moved the start time to 9:00 am so everyone can either participate or spectate both the Monster Mile and Haunted Half. All finishers will receive a miniature pumpkin! The course will be certified and everyone will be timed, but in the "spirit" of a fun family event, there will be no awards.

    Scarecrow Skedaddle
    This 5k & 1-Mile Run is brought to you by Niswonger Children's Hospital. A Modified Race (200-meter) will begin at 1:45 p.m. with the 5k starting at 2 p.m. and 1-Mile Run starting at 2:10 p.m. This is an USATF-Certified course (good for TN state age records) starting and finishing at Founders Park. The event is open to all ages. The entry fee is only $10. Race participants that register by Oct. 4th are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt and finishers medal. After the race, the community is welcome to join us for Family Activities Day.

    *Modified Race is for kids who may need assistance with wheelchairs and/or walkers.

    BAE Veteran's Day Classic - Half Marathon and 5K
    Packet pickup and late registration: Friday, November 8th, 3-6pm, Kingsport YMCA, 1840 Meadowview Pkwy, Kingsport
    Saturday, November 9th, 8-10am, Holston Army Ammunition Plant, 4509 W. Stone Dr., Kingsport.
    10:30am - Half Marathon and 5K Run
    5K Nature Walk will start shortly after the Half Marathon, 5K start.
    Beautiful course on grounds of Holston Army Ammunition Plant with no traffic through the wooded grounds on paved roads that you will share with wildlife. Pets, bicycles, skateboards, and roller blades, are strictly prohibited on the course. Baby joggers and strollers allowed on the 5K course only. 3 hr time limit on the half marathon course. Only the HM is a K&Q race. Plan to bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the post-race festivities. Electronic B-tag timing and professional race management by We Run Events.

    Barter Theatre's Inaugural Holiday Hustle 5K
    10:00 am. Barter Theatres 2nd Annual Holiday Hustle will feature a 5-K + 1-mile walk/fun run, and a costume contest. Proceeds from this family and pet-friendly event will support Barter Theatres programs and activities in furtherance of its mission of Enriching Lives Through Extraordinary Theatre. Participants of all skill levels can participate in the 5-K run/walk on Abingdons Creeper Trail, one of the countrys premier rail-trails. The race will be themed around Barter’s upcoming holiday production of ELF: The Musical and those who wish to can participate dressed as a character from the show. Prizes will be awarded for the top finishers in each age category, with additional prizes for the best costumes for adults, children, and pets. Come on out for a day of fun and to help support one of the nations oldest repertory theatres and the State Theatre of Virginia – Barter Theatre.

    YWCA Women's Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
    8am. The Turkey Trot is an event hosted by the YWCA Women's Fitness Center that encourages women to achieve their fitness goals. It is the longest running women's 5K in the Tri-Cities that features joggers and walkers of all skill levels. Every year, the YW cheers on first-time participants and veteran runners who achieve a new personal best. The race route is certified by USA Track and Field. All proceeds from the race benefit the health and wellness programs of the YWCA's Women's Fitness Center.

    9:00 am. The run will be timed. Still free! 8K group run. Farmer's Market, State Street. Feel free to wear your Christmas attire, bells, Santa hats, and ugly sweaters. Roads will not be blocked so please stay safe and use sidewalks when possible.
