    11th Annual Race For Ian
7:00am - Packet pick up and same day Registration
    8:00am - start for the 5K
8:05am - start for the Mile Fun Run
This event raises funds for Tennessee Hemophilia and Bleeding Disorders Foundation. Ian is a severe hemophiliac. This means he has a Factor 8 clotting agent problem. He takes port injections of Factor 8 to help with joint bleeds,
bruising and every day life happenings. He will be turning 10 years old 7/27/17 and to date he has had around 2,000 injections to help with this disorder. Due to the low percentage of people this affects, research funds are small compared to other disorders
that affect a larger population. Every bit helps! Thank you in advance for your support. Large trophies are given for the overall winners. Plus we usually have 50 or more gift give-a-ways through drawings. All you have to do is be registered.
You do not even have to be there or even run to receive these prizes. Prizes of past years: Overnight stay at the Carnegie Hotel, Massages, games, running attire, running headphones,
Theater movie tickets, gift cards (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, local food establishments) clothing, Free workout memberships, and cosmetics just to mention a few.
    Hope to see ya there!

Sugar Hollow Scramble 3 Hour and 6 Hour Timed Event
    8:30 AM 3 Hour
    8:30 AM 6 Hour
Come get your sugar rush at The Sugar Hollow Scramble. This is ONE SWEET RACE. You start the race at 8:30AM and YOU decide how far you want to go. The course is a 5K, mostly single track trail, through several unique areas of Sugar Hollow Park. You will twist through an old hardwood forest on a single track, glide over the soft needles in a mature pine grove, check out the long range views as you cross the earthen dam, wander through the wetlands, all before returning to the start/finish. If you liked it, you can do it again, and again, and again until your 3 hours or 6 hours are up. Come run a fun trail 5K or 30K or 50K....or somewhere in between.

In order to keep race fees lower, shirts will be available for purchase and are not included in the race registration. Shirts are available for $15 and will be a soft blended material. You can choose from a Royal Blue short sleeve style or Royal Blue muscle tank style. Please indicate shirt style and size on entry form if purchasing a t-shirt.

All finishers will receive a finishers award (varies by total distance) and an ice cream party at the end. How far will you go?

Your distance will be determined by the last full lap you completed, and does not need to be picked ahead of time.

Event is chip timed and there will be an aid station at the start/finish area that you will pass every 3.1 miles. There will also be an unmanned water/Sword Hydration station about mid-way of the course. Directions to start: Take Exit 7 off I-81 (turn left if coming from the South and Right if North) Go a few hundred yards to the Lee Highway Stoplight and Turn Right toward Abingdon. Go about 0.7 miles and turn left into Sugar Hollow Park. Once in Sugar Hollow Park, go 0.4 miles to Soccer Field Road and Turn right, check-in/registration will be at the Start/Finish at end of the road.

This is a very unique 10K run starting and finishing at the top of South Holston Dam. Take on breathtaking views of S. Holston Lake as we run from S. Holston Dam to Weir Dam, around the beautiful Osceola Island Trail, and back to top of S. Holston Dam. Save something for the challenging final 1-mile climb! The run will start at 6:30 pm at the top of South Holston Dam, Bristol, TN. Please arrive as early as possible so we can get started on time. We have a time limit of 1h 30m so we can be out before the park closes, however feel free to start early if you think it will take longer. 6:00 early start (or whenever you want to get going!). The run is timed, but please understand that this is a group run (not a race), with awards to the top 3 males and females only. We will have a digital clock and kiosks where you can check your time when you finish the run. The roads will not be closed to vehicular traffic so please be careful on the roads. Parking is extremely limited so please plan accordingly. Carpool if possible and/or park at Weir Dam and ride with others to the top of S. Holston Dam. Post-run pizza and goodies.
