Monster Mile at Haunted Half Marathon (CANCELLED)
NOTE: Due to Jonesborough moving the Haunts & Happenings Festival to Friday evening, we will not be able to hold the Monster Mile.
6:00 pm. The Monster Mile will start at 6:00 pm on Friday evening, the night before the Haunted Half Marathon. This allows people to run both if they want, or allows parents to watch or run with their kids in the Monster Mile, even if they are planning to run the half the next morning. This is a new race which will be adult, kid, stroller, AND dog friendly! Come pick up your race packet and be a monster in the Monster Mile! Feel free to dress up and make the Monster Mile even spookier! All finishers will receive a miniature pumpkin! The course will be certified and everyone will be timed, but in the “spirit” of a fun family event, there will be no awards.
The course will be out and back, entirely on the Lost States Scenic Trail, starting in downtown Jonesborough near 1st avenue.
