BAYS BLAZE 10 Mile AND 5K XTERRA TRAIL RUNS
**THIS IS A WEDNESDAY EVENING RACE** 6:00pm Sharp! Choose from either the 10 Mile or 5k options. The 5k option is great for even the beginner. Mostly single track trails. There are not many 5k easy trail runs around, so come out and try this one and help support the mountain that makes these possible. The 10 Mile is challenging and exciting. Flats, climbs, drops, and recovery are all part of this course. Both are great XTERRA races presented by Fleet Feet Sports, so come out and show your support for Bays Mountain.

Overmountain Victory Run - 10 Mile Run & 3K Walk
8:30 am 3K Walk. 9:00 am 10 Mile Run. Note the change in distance from 15K to 10 Mile. The race has been added to the SFTC Long Distance Series. This is an absolutely beautiful course along Watauga River and Boone Lake, closely following the historic trail the "Over Mountain Men" took to encounter and defeat the British army, which was the turning point in the Revolutionary War. Runners will be shuttled from the finish at Rocky Mount in Piney Flats to the start near Sycamore Shoals in Elizabethton.

NEW THIS YEAR - Do The Double Over, or run from the finish to the start, and then turn around and run the race. Great 20 mile training run for your upcoming fall marathon.
