    Sugar Hollow Scramble 5k 10k 15k 20k 25k 30k
Come get your sugar rush at The Sugar Hollow Scramble on 5/13/2017. This is ONE SWEET RACE. This event is unlike anything in the area. You start the race at 8AM and YOU decide how far you want to go. The course is a 5K, mostly single track trail, through several unique areas of Sugar Hollow Park. You will twist through an old hardwood forest on a single track, glide over the soft needles in a mature pine grove, check out the long range views as you cross the earthen dam, wander through the wetlands, all before returning to the start/finish. If you liked it, you can do it again, and again, and again until your 3 hours are up. Come run a fun trail 5K or 30K....or somewhere in between.
All finishers will receive a finishers award (varies by total distance), a race shirt, and an ice cream party at the end. How far will you go? Sweet Awards to the top 3 male and female runners, based on time and distance.
Your distance will be determined by the last full lap you completed, and does not need to be picked ahead of time.
Event is chip timed and refreshments will be available
Camping is available on a first come, first serve basis through Sugar Hollow Park.

    Ta-Pa-Win-Go Joy Run
1;00 PM. Brand new race starting and finishing at Camp Ta-Pa-Win-Go, which is a Cherokee word meaning “Place of Joy” on a hill. We are a non-denominational Bible camp in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee. Ta-Pa-Win-Go is owned and operated by Children's Bible Ministries. Since 1948, Camp Ta-Pa-Win-Go has been impacting the lives of countless children and teens in east Tennessee! Each year, the number of campers we serve continues to grow, presenting the need for new activities. Our desire is to get the community involved as we raise funds for our project that will benefit our children.
The 3.1 mile race will begin on camp property and out the front gate. This course is mostly pavement. There are a few hills and one challenging uphill section. Amenities: After the race, participants may want to cool off in the pool or zip down the zip line. Also, there will be a bounce house!. In addition, there will be food, snacks and water.

9:00 am 10 Mile Run, 9:30 am 3K Run/Walk.. The 10M race is part of the SFTC Long Distance Series. Runners will be shuttled from the finish at Rocky Mount in Piney Flats to the start near Sycamore Shoals in Elizabethton.

Do The DOUBLE OVER, or run from the finish to the start, and then turn around and run the race. Great 20 mile training run for your upcoming fall marathon. Write DOUBLE OVER on the Team line if you plan to do this.
