6:00 pm. Join us for a leap day fun "timed" run or walk around Bristol. After the run we'll "hop" into Bristol Brewery for happy hour specials. We're dusting off our timing equipment for a test run before the racing season starts. Feel free to pre-register for this event so we can assign you a bib number, however, there is no fee to run in this event. Since this is a fun run the roads will NOT be closed. Participants will need to be aware of their surroundings, stay on sidewalks and obey traffic laws. We'll also have some door prizes. Let's all celebrate leap day together...last chance for 4 years don't miss it :)

Overmountain Victory Run - 10 Mile Run & 3K Walk
8:30 am 3K Walk. 9:00 am 10 Mile Run. The race has been added to the SFTC Long Distance Series. This is an absolutely beautiful course along Watauga River and Boone Lake, closely following the historic trail the "Over Mountain Men" took to encounter and defeat the British army, which was the turning point in the Revolutionary War. Runners will be shuttled from the finish at Rocky Mount in Piney Flats to the start near Sycamore Shoals in Elizabethton.

NEW THIS YEAR - Do The Double Over, or run from the finish to the start, and then turn around and run the race. Great 20 mile training run for your upcoming fall marathon.
