7:00PM THURSDAY EVENING RACE. Come join one of the biggest festivals of the year in downtown Kingsport. This 4th of July 4 mile/1mile race is an evening race with activities for the kids and the spouse as well. Listen to free concert by Shenandoah; eat lots of food and drinks, visit with friends; and watch the FIREWORKS. A very festive atmosphere with thousands of your friends. This 4 mile event is chip timed by We Run Events. It is a great tune-up race before the Crazy 8s. Enjoy our finish area cooling tents. Entry fee also includes a free pasta dinner and movie for you and your immediate family on Wednesday night. Sponsored by First Broad Street United Methodist Church, with partial proceeds going to Kingsport Community Ministry Center. Bring Your lawn chair for the fireworks.
